Navigation and profile
The top bar is the only element present on every page of Q247. From it, you choose the view, the date range that applies to all numbers, the organization, the language, and your own profile.
Elements of the top bar
| Element | Location | What it is for |

| Teams | menu on the left | the list of the organization's teams |
| Manage Organization | menu on the left, expandable | the administrative panel, described in Application administration |
| Date range selector | center, with a calendar icon | the period for which the values on the page are calculated |
| Organization name | on the right | switching organizations or returning to Overview |
| Language switch | on the right, PL or EN | the interface language and the language of AI Assistant answers |

Menu item visibility
The menu on the left is not the same for everyone. It follows from the organizational roles described in Permissions:
- Overview and Teams require the Member role, because they lead to business data.
- Manage Organization requires the Admin role.
An account with only the Admin role will therefore not see Overview or Teams, and an account with only the Member role will not see the administrative panel. The dropdown list under Manage Organization shows only the tabs the given account has access to.
Organization name
This field behaves differently depending on how many organizations the account belongs to.
With a single organization, the name is a plain link leading to Overview, with no dropdown list.
With several organizations, an arrow appears next to the name, and clicking it opens a list to choose from. Switching changes the context of the entire application: data, projects, and permissions then come from the newly selected organization.
Moving between two organizations that log in with a password happens without entering the password again. Switching to an organization using SSO, or from it to another, goes through full login, because it is an independent authentication method.
User menu
Clicking the avatar expands three items:
- the email address of the logged-in account, for information
- My Profile, described below
- Log out

My Profile
The profile page shows the data of a single person. It opens from the user menu for your own account, and from participant tables also for other people in the organization.
| Row | What it contains |
|---|---|
| Header | initial, first name, and last name |
| Roles | organizational role badges, Admin and Member, one or both |
| Work | the business email address, which is also the account identifier |
| Mobile | the phone number, with the country code |
| Profile | a link to the LinkedIn profile |
| Seniority | Junior, Regular, Senior, or Expert |
Empty fields show a dash. They are filled in by the user or an administrator, and their content does not affect any metric.
Editing and changing the password
The Edit and Change Password buttons appear only on your own profile. On another person's profile, the page remains in read-only mode; the data of other accounts is changed in Users And Teams.
The edit form splits the fields into two groups. Basic Information includes email, first name, last name, account status, and roles. Additional Information covers official position, seniority, country code and phone number, LinkedIn, and tags.
In an organization using SSO, the password does not exist on the Q247 side, so the change password button is not shown. The password is then changed with the identity provider.
Accounts managed by SCIM have some fields locked, because their owner is the identity provider. Such fields show an explanation of why they cannot be edited.
