Project Performance metrics

Project metrics on the screen pertain to the overall monitoring and assessment of a project's progress, scope, and efficiency throughout its lifecycle. These metrics provide insights into how the project evolves over time, helping teams evaluate delivery pace, workload, and resource utilization. Key elements include:

  • First increment date: The date when the first increment was recorded. This may indicate the start of the team's work on the product or the beginning of measurement.
  • Last increment date: The date when the most recent (last) increment was recorded. This marks the end of the analyzed period.
  • Duration: The total number of calendar days between the first and last increment — the overall time span of the analysis.
  • Duration (working days): The number of working days within the analyzed period — excluding weekends.
  • Calories per Day: The average number of calories produced per calendar day during the entire period.
  • Increments per day: The average number of increments or completed steps per day.
  • Calories: The total sum of calories, which can be interpreted as the participant's overall contribution or effort.
  • Increments: The number of performed steps, changes, or completed work units.
  • Calories per increment: The average calorie value per increment or completed work unit.
  • Calories per person (a day): The average number of calories generated per person per day.
  • Calories per person:The total number of calories allocated to one person during the analyzed period.
  • Team capacity: The team size expressed as a number of people.
  • Effective team capacity: This is the average effective number of people working on increments during the analyzed period.
  • Increments per person per day: The average number of increments completed by one person during the entire period.
  • Increments per person: The average number of increments completed by one person per day.
